I attended this week end a classic motorbike show held in Sarlat, Périgord, France. The show was staged by a local club and presented some very rare and nice bikes. I spent some time looking at the details and taking photos of a 1904 Peugeot and a hot 350 Koehler Escoffier. I met Jean Claude Barrois who ran at Bonneville in 2010 and brought to Sarlat his land speed bike built around a Rudge engine. This bike is a real work of art built at home with basic tools. It was a real pleasure to spend some time with Jean-Claude talking about his achievements on the salt and our love of the American culture.
Enjoy the pics !
